Noor Skhiri

Interested in how culture shapes morality, identity, and the way people understand and experience the world.

Noor Skhiri is a 4th-year undergraduate student at UMass Amherst studying Neuroscience and Psychology. She works under Prof. Mohammad Atari as a Research Coordinator and Research Assistant, supporting ongoing projects across the lab. She is interested in how culture shapes morality, identity, and the way people understand and experience the world. She hopes to pursue a career in child and adolescent psychiatry, and is particularly interested in how patients’ cultural backgrounds and lived experiences can inform more culturally responsive mental health care.
